The CarGardTM is designed to be installed over your steering column. The function of the lock is to protect your ignition switch and steering column. The CarGard'sTM bright red color is highly visible and a clear signal to ward off any prospective thief!! Hopefully they will look elsewhere for an easier target. The CarGardTM is the perfect added protection to help safeguard your vehicle. The CarGardTM is constructed from 16 gauge solid steel and fitted with a pick resistant lock. The housing wraps completely around the steering column covering the ignition switch and column. The unit has provisions for the turn signal indicator and also the steering column adjustment lever (see image).
