The Lok-Itt Column Lock^TM protects your vehicle with four "layers" of security. Each layer is a deterrent; one more step a thief must overcome to steal your vehicle. Each layer of security makes it harder for thieves to steal your vehicle, and as a result makes your vehicle a less attractive target to thieves.

Layer 1: The ignition bracket extends through the steering wheel to prevent thieves from turning the wheel.

Layer 2:The ignition bracket installs over the starter switch to deny thieves access.

Layer 3: The high-visibility coatings and markings provide round-the-clock security by deterring thieves before they even enter the vehicle.

Layer 4: The compact main housing wraps around the column to stop thieves from "stripping the column" and "hot wiring" the vehicle.

Design and Construction

Its unique design, heavy-duty construction and ease of use offer you the greatest level of safety, simplicity and security in vehicle anti-theft security devices. Both permanent and removable models are available, depending on the vehicle make and model.

Installation and Use

The compact main housing installs easily on the column behind the steering wheel to protect the steering column, preventing thieves from "stripping" the column and "hot wiring" the vehicle. The small removable ignition bracket installs over the main housing and through the steering wheel, protecting the ignition switch and preventing steering if the vehicle is pushed or towed.

Simple and easy to use there's no bending, twisting or turning to lock the ignition bracket in place. The entire procedure of securing the vehicle takes place at a convenient level directly in front of the driver. When not in use the ignition bracket stores safely out of the way.

Warranty

A limited, one-year warranty against mechanical defects due to manufacturing and workmanship is provided, giving you added security, confidence and peace of mind when you buy the Lok-Itt Column Lock^TM.
